In the beginning, the issue was just speed. A particularly smooth surface on the hull was supposed to make a racing boat faster. This was an impressive success. However, the nanoscale coating has also proved itself a success for different reasons. It has turned out to be an extremely efficient corrosion protection and a long-term anti-fouling coating. So what better way to name the product than after its protective property?

 

NanoSky protect has also been successfully tested on brake discs and even in the steel industry. The nanoscale paints can cover much more surface with greater adhesion. That’s why NanoSky Protect offers more protection. And in addition to this – or maybe because of it – NanoSky provides more protection, higher coverage and a longer life not just for ships, brake discs and steel constructions, but also for the environment above and below the water.

 

The development of NanoSky Protect is virtually complete. Other applications are in preparation. Certification is scheduled for 2011/2012.
